The majority of our LT bookings are covered by a Claims-made policy, which is commonplace within the physician-staffing industry. (An exception for J&C concerns Psychiatry assignments, which are covered by a special Occurrence-based policy.) Our carrier, Evanston Insurance Company, is rated “A” by A.M. Best Company, the industry’s leading assessor of commercial policies.

Our medical malpractice insurance covers all the medical fields that we represent, including high-risk specialties such as Surgery, Surgical Subspecialties, and OB/GYN. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) is provided for every practitioner booked for a locum tenens assignment regardless of the medical specialty.
